Student Fees

California law does not allow school districts to charge fees to students for curricular and extracurricular activities.  However, due to state budget cuts, schools can no longer afford to fund many of these programs.  Therefore, we sometimes request voluntary donations from parents to offset the costs of these activities.  However, parents are not required to pay fees or make donations and all students may participate in extracurricular activities regardless of whether or not their parents make a donation.  For additional and more detailed information about student fees, please click on the link below ($$$) which will take you to the Student Fees page on the CUSD website.

Viejo Two-Way Immersion Information Meetings for 2012-13

Viejo Elementary School has scheduled their Two-Way Immersion Parent Information meetings for students entering school in the 2012-13 school year.

Viejo School currently has kindergarten and first graders in the Two-Way program. This is the 2nd year of the Two-Way program at Viejo. In 2012-13, the first graders will move to 2nd grade, the kindergarteners to first grade, and a new group of kindergartners will enter the program.  This year we enrolled 3 classrooms of Two-Way kindergarten students. We anticipate having 4 classes of Two-Way kindergarteners next year. The kindergarten Two-Way at Viejo is a full-day program.

The parent information meetings will take place on the following dates:

  • November 9
  • December 7
  • January 11
  • February 1
  • February 8

(All meetings will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10:00 a.m.)

The meetings will take place in Room 19. You can email Principal Doug Kramer to schedule one of the meeting dates drkramer@capousd.org
